Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences (KL) offers interprofessional , Bologna-compliant Medical Studies. The Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science gives students access to new, innovative fields of work in the health sciences and lays the foundations for training to become a medical practitioner.
As the course incorporates the fields of human medicine, medical technology and health economics, it trains medical experts to a high standard and primes them for the future of medicine. This joined-up approach allows graduates go on to careers across the entire public health sector. The structured, cross-linked teaching of professional skills and interdisciplinary knowledge means that students acquire the ability to communicate, act and solve problems across disciplinary boundaries on matters of medicine, medical technology and health economics.

School-leaving qualifications obtained in non-EU or EEA member states may – in some cases - not be considered as equivalent to an Austrian qualification.
Admissions Requirements
International school leaving certificate equivalent to an Austrian school leaving examination.
Latin: Proof of at least ten hours per week of Latin at a secondary school; alternatively, a pass in a supplementary test in Latin/medical terminology submitted before the end of the degree programme.
Biology: Proof of attendance of at least one weekly lesson in Biology from the 8th grade at a secondary school.
