Craft the magic behind the screen with the University of Salford’s BA (Hons) in Post Production and VFX. This three-year, full-time program equips you with the technical skills and creative vision to become a well-rounded post-production and visual effects (VFX) professional.
Unleash Your Creativity and Technical Expertise:
- Concept Development and Storytelling: Learn to translate ideas and scripts into visually captivating post-production elements. Explore storyboarding, editing techniques, and color grading to enhance the narrative impact of film and television productions.
- Master the Technical Toolkit: Gain proficiency in industry-standard software like Avid Media Composer, Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro), Nuke, and Maya. Develop expertise in compositing, motion graphics, 3D animation, and other VFX techniques used in contemporary film and media.

Tuition fee for UK students is €10,800.
Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a combined score of SAT I of at least 1260 with an individual minimum score in mathematics of 570 /800 and an individual minimum score of 610/800 in the evidence-based reading and writing section; or ACT with a score of at least 26; or grade 3, 3, 4 in three Advanced Placement Tests (APs) in specified subjects; or SAT II in three specified subjects at 575 or better (we will accept tests interchangeably as long as in total three subject areas are covered).
You’ll have to submit a personal statement (up to 500 words) and a portfolio of work.
