Description
The International School of Management (ISM) is a private business school in Germany with campuses in Dortmund, Frankfurt/Main, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart, and Berlin. It was founded in 1995 and offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in business, management, and engineering.
The ISM Cologne campus was established in 2014 and is located in the MediaPark, just a few minutes’ walk from the Hansaring S-Bahn station. The campus offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs in business and management, including:
- Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) in General Management, Finance, Marketing, or International Business
- Master of Science (MSc) in Business Analytics, Finance, or Marketing
The ISM Cologne campus is known for its strong focus on practical training and its close ties to the industry. The school has a network of over 1,000 partner companies around the world, and students have the opportunity to complete internships and externships at these companies. ISM Cologne also offers a variety of career placement services to its students.
Since 2014, the ISM has also been represented by a campus in Cologne. Currently, around 350 students are studying at the campus of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences in the MediaPark, just a few minutes’ walk from the Hansaring S-Bahn station. The Rhine metropolis is one of the most important business locations in Germany and impresses with its convenient location and a mix of different industries. The region has a long tradition as a center of trade and industry. In recent decades, the Cologne region has also been able to expand its position as a service and logistics center. Cologne is also well-known for being an innovative media city.
Student Life
When you think of Cologne, you can't miss the Cologne Cathedral (Dom) and the famous carnival. But the city on the Rhine has lots more to offer to its students. With around one million inhabitants, Cologne is the most populated city in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). The old town and the banks of the Rhine river attract numerous visitors.
The Hohenzollern Bridge is a popular photo spot and the museums and historical monuments are also worth a visit. The Zülpicher Street and the trendy neighborhoods of Ehrenfeld, Kawartier Latäng and the Belgian quarter attract with their numerous pubs and invite you to share a 'Kölsch' beer.
If you are new to the city of Cologne, you will love the open nature and the Rhenish cheerfulness. So take advantage of all the nice stuff Cologne has to offer you as a student.
