Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1996 and in 2001 acquired the status of a state university. Both Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences faculties are located in Valmiera city center. Near to the faculties are also cafes, supermarkets, a library, a cinema, a theater, a hairdresser, etc. Whether you’re interested in sports as a participant or a spectator, Valmiera has plenty to offer.
