The Master’s Degree Programme in Information and Communication Technology provides versatile and high quality ICT education in selected fields of ICT, with an established reputation in innovative interdisciplinary and international education. The programme has international double-degree collaboration with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Master School and with the Fudan University in Shanghai, China.The Digital health specialisation track integrates skills and principles from computer science, embedded systems and medical sciences in order to build understanding of theory and to gain practical competences in the field. Digital Health covers two subspecializations, each with their different study content. Medical Analytics and Health IoT has a strong focus on data analytics, while at the same time leveraging from machine learning, software engineering and embedded systems, it contains interdisciplinary collaboration between information technology and health sciences. Bioinformatics focuses on analyses of biomedical data, such as DNAs and proteins, full genome sequences, and gene expression levels.Digital Health specialisation track gives interdisciplinary knowledge in health technologies and biomedical engineering both from theoretical and practical perspective. Hence, giving possibility for employment in different health technology sectors, ranging from wellness and sport to personalized medical solutions and computational data analytics of biomedical data.
