The Master’s degree in Evolution, Ecology and Systematics is aimed at students with a bachelor’s degree in biology who are interested in organismic and molecular issues. In-depth knowledge of biological systems with a clear reference to current research in organismic and evolutionary biology is imparted.The course is interdisciplinary so that competencies in ecology, biodiversity (including knowledge of species), evolutionary biology, paleontology, systematics and phylogenetics can be acquired on different organizational levels and for different groups of organisms.
