Of the largest field of study in Flanders (commercial sciences and business administration), the bachelor’s degree in business management is by far the largest course. You will therefore find many options available.
A broad basic economic and business education at the start, plus strong specialization from the second phase of training, ensure that you have a very important asset for the business community: your trademark.
Kortrijk is the beating heart of Flemish entrepreneurship and design, fostering innovation and creativity. The city harbours various large multinationals like Barco and Bekaert. There is also a wide range of industry or service-oriented SMEs. This provides the region with the second lowest unemployment rate in Europe. The historic town centre offers an inspiring backdrop and the vibrant university town is strategically located in, and part of, the Belgian-French metropolis of Kortrijk, Lille and Tournai.
Within the programme you choose each year three foreign languages. For non-native speakers, English as the first foreign language is mandatory. The second and third foreign language can be chosen freely (Dutch, French, Spanish and/or German) but has to be different from the mother tongue.
Within the programme it is possible to obtain a double degree at one of our partner universities. If you are fluent in French, you can obtain a double degree at one of our Walloon partner universities of applied sciences in Belgium or study in France for one year. You can also earn a second degree at one of our partners in Finland, in Germany and even in Indonesia. In that case, you will have a full English programme.

If you are fluent in French, you can obtain a double degree at one of our Walloon partner university colleges in Belgium or study in France for one year. You can also earn a second degree at one of our Danish partner universities or even in South Korea.
