Profile
Putting theory into practice in real projects is a hallmark of education at HAN. During this course you get the fundamentals of chemistry, including analytical and organic chemistry. At the same time you dive straight into practice in the lab. During your studies, you work on group projects with other Chemistry students. The projects deal with real problems in analytical and organic chemistry, for example.What’s more, HAN collaborates with companies and research institutes in the Netherlands and abroad. This gives you invaluable, relevant work experience in the chemistry field. It also allows you to work on your problem-solving and communication skills. Skills that put you in high demand on the labour market.Learning chemistry at HAN really kick starts your international career. The department has contacts with numerous universities and companies in Europe, USA and Australia. That means great opportunities for going abroad as part of your studies.

Admissions Requirements
Secondary education / high school diploma that is equivalent to Dutch standards. You need to have Chemistry and Mathematics on your secondary school certificate. Biology is recommended.
Notes
For the EU students, the lowered tuition fee is € 1,105. The lowered tuition fee applies only in the first year of study. In your following years of study, you pay the regular tuition fee.
Application deadline for EU students is August 15.
