In the Netherlands, Leiden is the only place where international students can follow a full academic programme in Dutch Studies. The best place to get to learn the Dutch language and culture is, naturally, in the Netherlands itself.As a student of Dutch Studies, you will: learn the Dutch language, study the visual arts of the Low Lands, examine Dutch literature, linguists and (art) history, acquire all the skills necessary to obtain a full understanding of Dutch culture and society.

International diploma equivalent of a Dutch pre-university education (VWO) diploma.
First year bachelor students: the statutory tuition fee of the academic year 2023-2024 for first-year bachelor students is €1157.
