Become a Registered Nurse with a focus on adult care with the University of Salford’s BSc (Hons) in Nursing (RN Adult). This three-year, full-time program equips you with the knowledge, skills, and compassion to care for adults across various healthcare settings. Upon graduation, you’ll be eligible to take the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration exam to become a Registered Nurse in the UK.
Develop In-Demand Skills: Gain a comprehensive understanding of adult nursing, covering areas like anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, mental health, and specialist care for critical illness, chronic conditions, and older adults. Hone your clinical skills in areas like medication administration, wound care, patient assessment, and communication.

50% Clinical Placement: This program offers a unique structure with 50% of your studies dedicated to supervised clinical placements. This hands-on experience allows you to develop your clinical skills, build confidence, and gain a deeper understanding of the nursing profession.

Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a combined score of SAT I of at least 1260 with an individual minimum score in mathematics of 570 /800 and an individual minimum score of 610/800 in the evidence-based reading and writing section; or ACT with a score of at least 26; or grade 3, 3, 4 in three Advanced Placement Tests (APs) in specified subjects; or SAT II in three specified subjects at 575 or better (we will accept tests interchangeably as long as in total three subject areas are covered).
As part of the application process, you may be invited to complete an assessment / attend an online activity.
