Make a positive impact on the lives of others and address the growing need for mental health professionals with the University of Salford’s BSc in Nursing (Mental Health). This three-year, full-time program equips you with the knowledge, skills, and clinical experience to become a registered mental health nurse (RMN) in the UK.
Become a Mental Health Specialist: Develop a deep understanding of mental health conditions, assessment techniques, and therapeutic interventions.
Theory and Practice Integration: The program integrates theoretical learning with extensive practical placements within the National Health Service (NHS) and independent healthcare settings.
Clinical Skills Development: Hone essential nursing skills like patient assessment, communication, therapeutic interventions, medication administration, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic mental health care.

Admissions Requirements
High School Diploma with a combined score of SAT I of at least 1260 with an individual minimum score in mathematics of 570 /800 and an individual minimum score of 610/800 in the evidence-based reading and writing section; or ACT with a score of at least 26; or grade 3, 3, 4 in three Advanced Placement Tests (APs) in specified subjects; or SAT II in three specified subjects at 575 or better (we will accept tests interchangeably as long as in total three subject areas are covered).
