All Architecture

Architects add beauty to our daily world more directly than almost any other profession. At the same time, they remove a plethora of inconveniences most of us aren’t even aware of, while also keeping building costs under control. The vast majority of architecture students have at least a passing familiarity with fine art before they begin their studies. While the coursework contains little engineering (compared to becoming an engineer, anyway), it is also recommended that they have some aptitude for numbers. Otherwise, it would be difficult and time-consuming to do things like back-of-envelope quantity surveys. Finally, as much of the work revolves around communicating with clients, building inspectors, and contractors, a pleasant disposition and good communication skills are highly recommended.
