All Educational Studies

Graduating with an education studies major does not qualify you to teach in public schools, though it does give you the background to pursue a separate teaching degree. During this course of study, you will learn a great deal about both the theory of education and its practical technique.Teaching is far more effective when it is done according to a system that conveys skills and knowledge in an integrated fashion. Education studies will allow you to craft such lesson plans in nearly any field. This can improve your teaching skills in a number of contexts: in-house corporate training, adult education, teaching English as a second language, or youth leadership and juvenile delinquency prevention programs.Students are expected to be excellent speakers and listeners, highly organized, and capable of interacting with a wide range of people. The same attributes and skills learned can often be translated to careers in marketing, sales, human resources, and public relations.
