Student Life
AUAS/HvA is building a unique campus in the city centre: the Amstel campus. The Amstel campus will be a true city campus that unites education within AUAS/HvA. Students will venture into the local neighbourhoods to conduct projects and research and to make a contribution to society. At the same time, companies and institutions seek to settle in the vicinity of this research and knowledge development centre. Students from the AUAS/HvA are welcome to join the students' sports club of the University of Amsterdam, which offers many sports facilities. To get help settling in Amsterdam, you can join the International Student Network (ISN), an organization run by students of both AUAS/HvA and the University of Amsterdam. It aims to facilitate the social and cultural integration of international students into Dutch society, with a particular focus on Amsterdam.
Housing
AUAS has several student residence rooms for their students. Housing is not guaranteed so be sure to apply early. Rooms include single and shared options and range from 410-640 euros per month.

In addition to the Holland Scholarship (5000 euros), non EU students also have the option to apply for the 3000 euro Amsterdam Talent Scholarship.
Notes
The Universities of Applied Sciences are quite reputable in the Netherlands and provide a way for students without the IB/AP requirements held by the universities to study in this very cool country.
