Fresenius University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Fresenius) is a private university of applied sciences in Germany. It was founded in 1848 and is one of the oldest private universities in the country. Fresenius University has ten campuses throughout Germany, including Berlin, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich, and Wiesbaden.
Fresenius University offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs in a variety of fields, including:
- Business and economics

- Health and social affairs
- Media and communication
Fresenius University is known for its strong focus on practical training and its close ties to industry. Students have the opportunity to gain work experience through internships and cooperative education programs. Many Fresenius University graduates are hired by leading companies in their field.
Fresenius University is also a popular destination for international students. Over 10% of the student body is from outside of Germany, and the university offers a variety of support services for international students, including language courses and cultural orientation programs.
Student Life
To experience international culture also means being mobile, sometimes leaving your home surroundings and completing your studies with a change of scenery by moving to another city. At least that’s the first step on the way to internationalism. By taking it, you will widen your circle of acquaintances and friends and get to know new people and cities. Flexible relocation means that you won’t lose any time or credits if you move to another campus of the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences. Continue to study comfortably and with little bureaucracy in spite of moving. Hochschule Fresenius does not offer sports facilities, but students can take part in the extensive range of university sports at Cologne University. The Students Union of Hochschule Fresenius (ASTA) is very committed and regularly organizes events such as the summer and winter festivities, parties, and the famous "Frese-Cup", which is held every year at one of the campuses in Munich, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Hamburg, Idstein, or Berlin. Also, the orientation week for first-semester students is arranged by the Students Union.
