Kajaani University of Applied Sciences (KAMK) is a Finnish university of applied sciences located in the city of Kajaani. It is the largest university of applied sciences in eastern Finland, with over 7,000 students. Student Life
KAMK offers a unique, integrated campus near the town center in Kajaani. KAMK has concentrated on state-of-the-art equipment and study methods, as the campus undergoes a process of constant renewal and development. For example, you can opt to complete part of your studies as E-courses (virtual learning).above offers sports services accessible for all skill levels for students. Activities take place in the areas and sports locations of our campus. Two different kinds of gyms, a musical exercise room, and a sports hall. We offer instructed group exercises and the possibility to use the ball shifts in the sports hall and gyms of the campus independently. The goal of KaMove is to enhance the well-being of our students and to make it possible for everyone to do sports throughout their studies. The Kajaani University of Applied Sciences Student Union KAMO organizes evening gatherings and parties, winter events, and excursions. KAMO also runs kiosks, book-selling, and photocopying services at student prices on campus.
Housing
A company called Kajaanin Pietari provides accommodation for both degree students and exchange students. They offer shared accommodation and also family apartments. Some of the accommodation is located on campus and another housing is located 1 – 3 km from KAMK. KAMK International Office books accommodation automatically for all incoming exchange students after accepting their application. The students coming to study for a full degree should apply for accommodation themselves.

Students who successfully finish their first year of full-time studies will receive a 50% tuition waiver for the remaining years of the program.
