Students in the “Art Market Manager” Master’s programme benefit from a programme enabling them to manage and lead projects as well as to engage in their own entrepreneurial project.They acquire knowledge of artists and artworks, of the major challenges and defining sectors of the art market, of their functioning and practices in France and at international level. This will be combined with courses enabling students to acquire methods to carry out studies or research, conceive and implement projects, and develop an initial level of “expertise” that professional experience will consolidate.Art Market Managers develop a two-sided competence in arts and commerce. They are able to manage administratively, financially and legally, and to develop international marketing strategies. They are able to anticipate and acquire stock. They are able to diagnose and evaluate artworks and implement preservation actions. They are able to organise conferences on art history and to create exhibitions.Mobile and curious, Art Market Managers enjoy travelling, visiting artists’ workshops and looking for artworks. Intuitive, equipped with a fine taste, they are interested in the development of trends, They like history and its relations with artistic creation. With an international approach, they can speak multiple languages and attend exhibitions regularly.

Applicants need a bachelor’s degree with major in relevant field. Application deadline for non EU students is end of April.
